Frequently Asked Questions
We are presently accepting Medicare and All American Medical Group (AAMG) insurance at our Physical Therapy clinic. We're actively working on expanding our network to include more insurance providers. If you have a different insurance plan, we'd be happy to assist you with a complimentary insurance verification. This will help determine if you have out-of-network benefits that could be utilized at our clinic. Please reach out to us, and we'll gladly assist you.
During physical therapy, you might feel temporary soreness, mild discomfort, or fatigue after exercises or techniques. Communicate any unusual sensations to your therapist for adjustments. If you experience severe or prolonged discomfort, inform your therapist promptly.
Your progress and improvement during physical therapy will vary based on your condition, dedication to the treatment plan, and individual factors. Generally, you can expect gradual improvements in mobility, strength, flexibility, and pain reduction as you continue with therapy. Your therapist will regularly assess your progress, modifying the treatment as needed to help you reach your goals.
We believe that manual therapy plays a crucial role in preparing the body and aiding in pain-free movement, provided it aligns with your injury. Our therapists are highly skilled in advanced manual therapy techniques. These encompass a wide array of methods, including joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilizations, joint manipulation, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, myofascial decompression (cupping), and mobilization with motion. These techniques are thoughtfully applied along with personalized corrective exercises to facilitate your recovery and enhance your mobility.
For physical therapy sessions, it's best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Opt for athletic wear or clothing that won't restrict your ability to perform exercises or stretches. Consider wearing sneakers or comfortable footwear that provides stability and support. Additionally, if you have specific areas requiring therapy (like a knee or shoulder), wearing clothing that allows easy access to those areas can be helpful.
If you need to reschedule or miss a session, we kindly request a minimum of 24-hour notice. Without this notice, we reserve the right to apply a cancellation fee. Your understanding and timely communication regarding scheduling changes are greatly appreciated.
